1. What Is GEN AI?
GEN AI is a digital assistant ecosystem developed to support public servants and
reformers in low- and middle-income countries. It provides structured guidance on
diagnosing public problems, mapping political and institutional contexts, and designing
reform solutions. GEN AI consists of multiple purpose-built bots that guide users step by
step through a reform journey.
GEN AI is designed strictly for professional use in the public sector. It is not a general-
purpose chatbot or consumer tool.
2. How GEN AI Works
GEN AI is built on OpenAI’s GPT platform. While users interact only with GEN AI, their
data is processed on OpenAI’s servers. This means:
- AI Processing: User inputs and files are transmitted to OpenAI’s infrastructure
for processing. AI-generated outputs are returned via OpenAI’s API.
- Platform Hosting: The GEN AI platform itself is hosted on servers managed by
SiteGround.com, where GEN has secured hosting services.
Therefore, by using GEN AI, users are indirectly subject to OpenAI and Siteground’s
terms of use and privacy policy.
